Lifestyle Photography aims to document the love, connection and relationships that make up the story of your family. Images from a lifestyle shoot feel more ‘candid’, more ‘authentic’, more ‘emotional’ and more ‘fun’ than traditional family portraits.
The truth is, a good lifestyle photographer will not leave you floundering awkwardly in front of the camera, they will be there with you 100%, actively guiding you and once you feel comfortable, the magic will naturally happen. The essence of your family will shine through, the love and laughter will begin and you will have images that are full of life and personality. Images that you will look back on and feel like you are reliving it.
Capturing the Details – Lifestyle photography
An in-home lifestyle session is more than just photos of you all smiling, it’s a storytelling experience that gives a real picture of your family life. Looking back you will want to remember those precious details, your baby’s nursery, your favorite space to be in.
Lifestyle Photography is all about moments. Whether it’s the first few days with your new baby, an 18th birthday party or capturing a family get together, we can preserve these memories for you. Lifestyle photography is always natural, genuine and reflective of you and your family.
Choosing Lifestyle Photography for your Family Moment
When I work with a family, I want to capture the very essence of their “being together”, using the informal setting of their home, their things the natural setting in their home. I would like that, when in years to come, your children will look at that photo, they’ll remember where they used to live, their favorite toys, mum’s cuddles etc… I think that the thought of it is very sweet. Memories are something intimate and can generate strong feelings.
