When to book my newborn session?
The best time to be able to create those perfect curly poses featured in my work is when baby is between 4–15 days old. So it is best advised to book as early from your twenty week scan so I can book your due date in. I only take on a certain amount of sessions per month as I put in a huge amount of time, creative commitment and love into each baby session. Babies older than two weeks begin to stretch out their limbs and are more sensitive to having their arms and legs adjusted in certain poses.
They wake easier and things like colic, upset tummies and flaky skin begin to emerge and are generally harder to settle. However with that said, I can still get some beautiful wrapped images after the 2 week mark. Since babies are rarely born on their due dates, my calendar is always changing and last minute bookings can potentially be accommodated for.
What is included in the session fee?
It covers our time and talent prior, during and after your session. A bespoke photo shoot session in your home tailored to your choice of colour and styling. Photographer’s time and talent to edit your gallery images ready for you to view. An ordering appointment to be scheduled when your gallery is ready to view and to finalise your order. It does NOT include any images and these are purchased seperatly in packages, please look at Session Fees for a full pricing breakdown.
How much does it cost?
Your newborn session will be a wonderful experience that you will remember forever, it is such a special time in your life and we want to capture that for you. The session fee is £65 and includes everything we need to create beautiful portraits of your new baby – bowls, fabrics, wraps and bonnets are all ready for you. Other session prices are here. Images will be available for purchase separately as packages at your ordering appointment and start from £289. Can we have a family photo during the session?
Yes of course! I highly encourage parents and siblings to get in the photos! As parents we have a habit of hiding behind the camera but in years to come your children will ask where you are. As part of booking your session you will receive a Preparation Guide to help you decide on appropriate clothing and makeup.
How many photos do you take?
On the day of your session I will photograph your baby in differant fabrics, outfits and props giving you a variaty in your gallery. I aim to shoot for 20-25 images, beautifully edited ready for you at your Ordering appointment.
When will we get to see the photos?
Creating your beautiful session gallery will take many hours of work to get them ready for viewing. Please allow approximately 2-4 weeks to view them. We can then schedule a Orderinging appointment where you can place and finalise your order.
How do I book my session?
